Our branch office has been established in February 2007 in Kishinev and 28 people are currently promoting Bilim's products in Moldova.

 

National Quality Grand Award Goes to Bilim Pharmaceuticals

Bilim Pharmaceuticals has won the National Quality Grand Award in the category of Big Enterprises, which has not been won for the last 4 years.

At the National Quality Awards, organised annually by the Quality Association of Turkey (KalDer) which is the branch of EFQM (European Foundation of Quality Management), Bilim Pharmaceuticals has won the National Quality Grand Award, in the category of Large Scale enterprises, after careful screening of candidates' performances based on EFQM Excellence Model.

Bilim Pharmaceuticals started its systematic approach to Total Quality Management in 1998 with Strategic Planning. Bilim Pharmaceuticals received the "Recognition of Excellence" certificate in 2004, the second one of EFQM Excellence Stages, showing that a company was being managed successfully and progressed at the path to become an excellent company.

CEO Erhan Baş emphasized that the success of the award belongs to the whole Bilim Pharmaceutical family with its employees and managers. He stated:

"We worked very hard to come to this point and we succeeded. We have taken our place among the firms with best practices of the Total Quality Management in Turkey. We have serious and challenging targets. We want to be among the front - runners of Europe in Total Quality management. Our main target is to be able to compete with international generic drug producers in the European markets by 2009 and to become a global pharmaceutical company."

 

Bilim Pharmaceuticals Receives International Web Award

BilimPharma.Com, the corporate web site of Bilim Pharmaceuticals, created in collaboration with MagiClick Digital Solutions, received the "Standard of Excellence" Award in the "Pharmaceuticals" category of WebAwards 2006.

The "WebAward" hosted by the US Based Web Marketing Association (WMA) recognizes companies that possess the vision to transform their sites into powerful communication and business tools. The WMA was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate Web development and is the producer of the WebAwards, an annual competition designed to judge corporate Web sites against an Internet standard and against peer sites within their industry. The WebAward competition draws over 2,500 entries from over 20 countries.

Judges from leading agencies choose winning sites based on seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use. Judges complimented the Bilim Pharmaceuticals web site on its "creative reflection of the corporate culture in its logo and flash banners, and the effective introduction of the production facilities."

 

Gebze New Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Plant

Due to increasing demand for our drugs and our high export goals the Maslak plant will be moved to our premises in the Gebze Organized Industrial Zone.

The new state-of-the-art plant has been projected in February 2005, have an enclosed area of 51.500 m2 on a total area of 60.000 m2. The plant has been opened in April 2008.

The investment cost for the plant is 80 million Euros.

Project development for the new plant has been undertaken by the German G+P Günsav Projektentwicklung GmbH engineering company, which has international reputation and experience.

The plant to have a manufacturing capacity of 125 million boxes per shift will strengthen the Turkish Pharmaceuticals Industry.

 

Bilim Pharmaceuticals is "Recognized for Excellence" by EFQM!

In 2004 Bilim Pharmaceuticals was "Recognized for Excellence" by the EFQM Europe and became the first organization in the Turkish pharmaceuticals sector to document such a recognition.

The EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) excellence model serves as an intermediary, which verifies whether organizations proceed on the right path for excellence and supports them to improve their management systems. Furthermore, it enables the organizations to realize their power and their weak aspects open to improvement, thereby encouraging them to generate solutions.

Bilim Pharmaceuticals was "Recognized for Excellence" by the EFQM Europe and became the first organization in the Turkish pharmaceuticals sector to document such a recognition.

Bilim Pharmaceuticals achieved the EFQM certificate in respect of its compliance with the criteria such as: results orientation, customer focus, leadership and constancy of purpose; management by processes and facts, people development and participation; continuous learning, innovation and improvement, partnership development, corporate social responsibility.

In Turkey, KalDer (Turkish Quality Foundation), which plays the leading role in the National Quality Movement, is responsible for the management of this model.

 

Bilim Pharmaceuticals on the CPHI International Pharmaceuticals Exhibition

Bilim Pharmaceuticals participated in the CPHI International Pharmaceuticals Exhibition, held in Milano on October 03-05 2007 for the 8th time. The exhibition, participate by large multinational and international corporations and organized in a different city every year, will be held in Frankurt next year. Bilim Pharmaceuticals was one of the 1.500 participants of this year.
